I am primarily an Adobe Flex/ColdFusion developer, and have been writing code since about 1991, my freshman year in high school. I began using Hypercard, Pascal, and TC Logo in high school, then moved on to HTML, ASP, ColdFusion, PHP, and most recently Flex.
I have been programming in ColdFusion since ColdFusion 4, in 2000, and have grown a deep appreciation for how simple and easy it is to use, and how quickly something can be published. Since changing jobs in September 2007, I began working in Adobe Flex and have finally started to transition to Object Oriented Programming and all of the many joys and fewer woes that come along with it. It was nice to find another language that has its complexity, yet still manages to make complex tasks that much simpler. It was almost like Adobe took the idea of ColdFusion, and incorporated it into a Rich Internet Application (RIA).
